Last week of study

I taken some time off this week from posts to get some course work done. Mission statements, 6 month cashflow forecasts I've got a bit to get through. There's a lot of change at my new job, I want it to settle down but everyone is moving on.

I've slowed down socially as well, I have a few new friends I want to stay in touch with but will get this course work week out of the way then I'll play next weekend.

This is the last module of the fitness course I started last October, It has been tough working full time to do it but has opened my eyes of what I'm capable of at even at the age of 36!

The Islington Set

It is have been a good weekend as I have been walking to and from Highbury through Islington back home. There are some beautiful streets in the well to do areas like Barnsbury which could use my services, take note for future reference.

Many streets have a very familiar feel as a favorite plant a climbing vine with beautiful flowers called Wisteria grows on many of the houses here. This plant was one of Tony's favorite and reminds me on him at this time of year, this now is one of mine.

I missed a good friends house warming today which was something I was hoping to share with you as I have told most of my close London friends about my vlog. It was almost time to include them, but I have the course again early on Sunday morning and I'm not feeling so hot today to be in front of a camera let alone shove one in their faces.

Discovering new places

Walking home from a busniess course I discover Highbury Fields, I'm almost embarrassed as I'm a north Londoner I have never been to this well known park with Arsenal Football Club's legendary Highbury stadium around the corner.

The business course has given me a few ideas I can follow up on for future use If I'm still in the industry in a few years.

AAM 47 - Keeping it green

My hard rough hands over the last couple of years have turned green. I've worked on a project which got National Lottery funding to create a new garden space in my building.

Another thing in my life that helps keep me sane.

AAM 45 - I'm a little sad today

Today was the 1st anniversary of Tony's Death. I've had mixed feelings all day but later 15 of his closet friends met for dinner to remember him. I had no idea so many of us would all made the effort on this day. It was very special and even now had to wipe away a few tears while writing this post.

Tony died of cancer and his situation was one of the things that motivated me to start this vlog, I needed a way to express myeslf as I had bottled a lot up leading up to that day 1 year ago.

Now things have been going really well for me and I have a new sense of direction I realise I still miss the one person I could always share it with. Now I share it with every one so close friends and new friends globally can what I'm doing and how I'm feeling.

And the best part of it is that these videos/memories will be around long after I'm gone so when people want to remember me they can in a few clicks.

I wish I could do that when I remember Tony.

Words for Tony

I lost a close friend this year, Tony who I and other honoured friends lost to cancer. We were in a relationship for nearly 5 years. He was a unique person which showed remarkable composure in the last few weeks of his life even when his family rejected him when he let his last wishes be know which his family did not agree with. It was left to us, a close circle of friends help him say goodbye to the world.

I miss you heaps "honey bunny"

AAM 9 - Tony Young - a tribute

A serious slide show of a friends flat who had past away in May this year. Only now do I feel like making and sharing this with you. He was my partner for 5 years and even though we parted company in the last year it was very difficult to see him get ill.

This video is a tribute to his achievements, it's ironic that you can't take any of it with you when you strive to attain so much.

His 2 bedroom flat was stunning and he had a very particular taste.

Give her a try sometime. You will either love her or hate her.
